Located approximately 1.5km south of Deep Cove, Dollarton is situated on the eastern and western sides of Dollarton Highway. Nearby neighbourhoods include Roche Point, Indian River, Cove Cliff, Parkway, Deep Cove, Northlands and Windsor Park.
 
Demographic
 
A friendly neighbourhood, the majority of residents living here are families, making up 49% of Dollarton’s population, while couples make up 33% and singles 18%. Approximately 65% of families have kids living at home. 90% of residents are homeowners, with just 10% renting. English and German are the top languages spoken here.
 
Residential Housing
 
A large proportion of homes in the Dollarton neighbourhood are single-family detached houses, many of which are custom-built and offer fantastic ocean views. Several highly priced homes are also situated along the Fairway Drive and onto the nearby Seymour Golf club. There is only one townhouse complex in Dollarton, The Maple, which was built in the early 1980s and is extremely popular with new residents. Nearby Deep Cove is also home to various shops, stretching from Gallant Avenue to Panorama Drive, including jewelry store, Room6, gift shop, LaLa’s, and Panorama Market. Dollarton is well-served by schools in the area, including Cove Cliff Elementary, Sherwood Park Elementary and Seycove Secondary. Students participating in the French immersion program usually attend the nearby Dorothy Lynas Elementary or Argyle Secondary School.
 
Transportation
 
With a walk score of 56, Dollarton is the 16th most walkable neighborhood in District of North Vancouver. If you drive, as many Dollarton residents do, the neighbourhood also has easy access in and out via Mount Seymour Parkway and Dollarton Highway.
