Situated at the western edge of West Vancouver, Eagleridge is a 10 minute drive south of Whytecliff Park. It is also a short drive to Lions Gate Bridge, Horseshoe Bay and Highway 1.
 
Demographic
 
The Eagleridge area is great for all kinds of households, but couples tend to be the largest group. With close access to schools and recreation, the Eagleridge neighbourhood is also extremely popular with families. The majority of houses in the area are detached, and over 90% are home owners.

Eagleridge is surrounded by attractions, including the Eagle Harbour Yacht Club, offering membership with access to exclusive events, as well as a junior club and sailing school. Eagleridge is also closeby to the Seaview Trail, which takes you down to the popular Gleneagles Golf Course and Clubhouse, and is also a great spot to take kids learning to ride a bike. Nearby are also Gleneagles Community Centre and Adventure Park, offering dirt jumps and stunt zones for mountain bikers and BMX riders. The Thunderbird Marina is also just a few minutes drive from Eagleridge.

Restaurants
 
Eagleridge is a great place to live if you love to dine out, with lots of great restaurants nearby. Hugos is just a short drive down Marine Drive, and offers pub house food with a unique twist and regular live music. Other restaurants nearby include those located at Horseshoe Bay, including Bay Moorings Restaurant in Horseshoe Bay Park, which has been serving West Vancouver with local food for over 35 years. Other great choices in the area include the Olive & Anchor, The Boat House, and the nearly 70-year-old Troll’s Restaurant.
 
Shopping
 
Located just minutes to Caulfeild Shopping Centre, Eagleridge residents have easy access to over 25 shops and services, including a dental centre, medical clinic, veterinary clinic, and a large Safeway, conveniently close for grocery shopping. A little further on at Marine Drive is IGA Marketplace. Park Royal Shopping Centre is located a 10 minute drive from Eagleridge, with over 275 shops and services, from home furnishings stores, to fashion and shoe stores, restaurants, and grocery stores including the best Whole Foods Market in North America.
 
Schools
 
Eagleridge is close to a variety of great schools. Younger children can attend Gleneagles Elementary, Cypress Park Primary or Eagle Harbour Montessori, while older students usually attend Rockridge Secondary School.
 
Transportation
 
With a walk score of 9, Eagleridge is a fairly car-dependant community. It offers residents quick access to Highway 1, Park Royal Shopping Centre and Lions Gate Bridge, which take you to downtown and YVR. Eagleridge is also a few minutes car drive to Horseshoe Bay, and approximately a one hour drive to Whistler. West Vancouver’s Blue Bus transit also serves this neighbourhood, making it easy to get around without a car.
