Cypress and Seymour Mountains are also located nearby, both rich in all year outdoor adventure opportunities, and Lynn Canyon and Capilano Suspension Bridge are can also be reached by a short drive. Lonsdale Avenue is also located nearby, home to a number of local speciality stores including Blue Sky Clothing Company, North Shore Girl, On Top Bike Shop, and The Boardroom. The nearby Lonsdale Quay Market Centre is also home to a fresh food market, specialty shops, a kids’ play area, and a hotel and spa.
 
Schools
 
A family friendly area, Upper Delbrook is home to two schools within its borders, Braemar Elementary, and Mountainside Secondary, as well as being home to various daycares and preschools. Other nearby schools include Highlands Elementary, Cleveland Elementary, Handsworth Secondary, and Carson Graham Secondary.
 
Transportation
 
If you drive, as many Upper Delbrook residents do, Delbrook Ave and Montroyal Ave are the two most direct routes onto Highway One. There are also bus routes that run along the main roads and take Upper Delbrook residents over to Lonsdale Quay and the surrounding areas.
