Located in lower West Vancouver between Dundarave and West Bay, Altamont is within minutes of Marine Drive amenities and private beaches like Sandy Cove. For boating enthusiasts, marinas line the coves between Marine Drive and Horseshoe Bay. Its close proximity to the Upper Levels Highway also means residents can travel to Whistler in under two hours. Alternatively, travelling a short distance across the Lions Gate Bridge leads to downtown Vancouver.

Transportation
If you prefer not to drive, Altamont is in the perfect location for bus access as it sits along a dedicated transit route. Leave your car at home and take the Blue Bus, part of West Vancouver’s own bus system. The 253 bus runs from Caulfeild Drive in the west to Park Royal in the east, before moving onto downtown Vancouver. Altamont residents can also easily take the bus to the ferry at Horseshoe Bay. With priority lanes, regular buses, community shuttles and frequent service, taking the bus is often faster than driving and what’s more, it’s kind to the environment!
