Located between Marine Dr and the Trans-Canada Highway, Pemberton is located east of West Vancouver, north of Norgate, south of Pemberton Heights and west of Hamilton. Surrounding neighbourhoods include Capilano, Park Royal and Hamilton Heights.
 
Demographic
 
Out of an approximate population of 1,637, 37% of Pemberton residents are aged between 20 and 44 years old, and 29% between 45-64 years old. 75.4% of residents are homeowners, with 24.1% renting.
 
Residential Housing

Recreation
 
As with many North Shore neighbourhoods, Pemberton offers its residents a wealth of outdoor activities to get stuck into. A popular recreational activity is horseback riding at the North Shore Equestrian Centre, where riders of all levels and ages can partakes in lessons and training, summer camp, boarding and shows. Other popular recreational activities in the Pemberton community include mountain biking, jet boating and golf at the two nearby golf courses, Murdo Fraser Golf Course and Capilano Golf and Country Club. The nearby Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is home to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which stretches across the nearby Capilano River where visitors can explore the area’s forested trails, or stop by the popular Capilano Salmon Hatchery at the top of the river.
 
Restaurants
 
If you love dining out, Pemberton offers a range of dining options, to suit everyone’s preference. Nearby restaurants include Cactus Club Cafe and Pemberton Station Neighbourhood Pub, both on Pemberton Avenue, as well as a plethora of restaurants on nearby Marine Drive, including De Dutch, C-Lovers Fish & Chips, Boston Pizza and The Hurricane Grill.
 
Shopping
 
The Park Royal Shopping complex in West Vancouver offers a variety of shops and services in a handy location, just a short drive from the Pemberton neighbourhood. The shopping centre is home to over 275 shops and services, from home furnishings stores like Anthropologie and Home Depot, to fashion and shoe stores, like Banana Republic, Roots and Vans, as well as being home to The Village, which was opened as an expansion of Park Royal South, and boasts Vancouver’s first Salomon store, the first Pinkberry frozen yoghurt shop in Canada, and the best Whole Foods Market in North America. As with shopping, Marine Drive is also a great area for shopping, where you can conveniently find a Pricesmart Foods, Save-On-Foods and Iran Supermarket, among a variety of boutiques and specialist stores.
 
Schools
 
Pemberton is home to two public elementary schools, both within walking distance of the neighbourhood. Capilano Elementary, an authorized International Baccalaureate World School, is located to the north, and Norgate Community Elementary, which offers an early literacy component as part of its one of a kind ‘StrongStart at Norgate’ curriculum, is located to the south. Carson Graham Secondary, located in the Central Lonsdale area, is the closest secondary school to the neighbourhood.
 
Transportation
 
For those that take public transit, regular buses run through the Pemberton neighbourhood, including the 99 Pemberton Commuter and the 100 Pemberton Local. Marine Drive, to the south, also offers quick road access to West Vancouver and most of the North Shore. To the north is the Trans-Canada Highway, which offers access to Downtown Vancouver and other parts of the North Shore.
