Location

West Bay is comprised of approximately 8% children, 13% youth, 23% seniors and the rest adults, according to the West Vancouver website. The majority of the community is also comprised of English speakers, although the Asian population is growing.

Schools
A popular area for families, West Bay is best known for the popular West Bay Elementary School, which offers the IB program for students from kindergarten to grade seven. High school students in West Bay generally attend Rockridge Secondary School. There are also two private schools nearby, Mulgrave School and Collingwood School.
Transportation
If you drive, as many West Bay residents do, the neighbourhood is located close by to Highway One, allowing easy access to downtown Vancouver or north towards Squamish and Whistler. Various public transit routes serving the area also allow easy access to nearby neighbourhoods via bus.
